Comparing online accounting software prices for VAT-registered shops, 2026

A VAT-registered shop must issue tax invoices, keep input and output tax reports and file P.P.30 every month. Two kinds of software do this. Online accounting software such as PEAK, from 2,500 baht a year, and FlowAccount, from 199 baht a month, suits shops that already have a POS. All-in-one software that combines POS, stock and accounting, such as GORINY from 690 baht per branch a month, suits shops that do not want to move sales between programs. All prices were checked on provider websites on 23 October 2026

What a VAT-registered shop must do

  • Issue tax invoices to buyers, full or abbreviated depending on the sale
  • Keep output tax, input tax, and goods and materials reports
  • File P.P.30 every month, whether or not there were sales that month

Price comparison table

FlowAccount

Type: Accounting and documents

Price on the provider website: Free plan · 199, 299 or 549 baht a month, or 165, 249 or 457 a month paid yearly

Best for: Shops focused on sales documents and doing their own books

GORINY

Type: POS, stock, accounts and tax together

Best for: Shops selling over the counter every day and registered for VAT

The real difference: where sales figures come from

Online accounting software handles books and tax fully, but counter sales come from another system, so sales must move from the POS into the accounting program. Whether that is automatic depends on whether the two connect; if not, someone types summaries by hand, which is where output tax often drifts from the invoices actually issued

In all-in-one software each sale posts output tax immediately, so the output tax report comes from every invoice actually issued. The trade-off is a higher monthly price than starter accounting plans, and more menus

Questions before you choose

  • Do you sell at a till every day, or invoice monthly?
  • Do customers need electronic tax invoices, and does the package support them?
  • How many staff, and should payroll be in the same program?
  • Can your bookkeeper look at the data directly?

How to do it in the app

In GORINY full and abbreviated tax invoices come from the sales screen, with the Revenue Department approved register number printed on the slip, and e-Tax invoices can be sent by email. Input and output tax reports and the P.P.30 page are built from actual documents per branch, and you can invite your bookkeeper by email to view the same ledgers

Frequently asked questions

Can a VAT-registered shop use free accounting software?
Free plans usually limit users, products or back-dated entries; check that they produce complete input and output tax reports every month
With accounting software, do I still need a POS?
If you sell over the counter daily you still need a till, then move sales into the accounting program, or use software that combines both
Can these prices change?
Yes. Open each pricing page linked at the end before deciding
