Comparing prices of POS software popular with Thai retailers, 2026
With one shop, a small budget and no VAT registration, a free POS such as Loyverse is a fine start. For a POS with a loyalty system and setup help, StoreHub starts at 990 baht a month. VAT-registered shops or shops with staff must add accounting software, for example FlowAccount from 199 baht a month, or choose an all-in-one system such as GORINY from 690 baht per branch per month. Every price here was checked on each provider own website on 23 October 2026

The software price is not the whole cost
The table shows software fees only, not the POS device, receipt printer or barcode scanner, and providers charge differently: per store, per employee or per branch. Work out the cost from your own number of branches and staff before choosing
Another hidden cost is staff time. With separate POS and accounting software, someone must move sales into the accounting program every month, re-typing them if the two are not connected, and you pay two providers. An all-in-one system updates stock and accounts from each sale, but has more menus to learn
Strengths and trade-offs of each type
- Free POS: start at no cost, but features a growing shop needs, such as advanced stock and staff management, are paid add-ons
- Monthly POS: fuller sales and loyalty features, but accounting and tax usually need another program
- Accounting software: complete documents and books, but it is not a till, so it is paired with a POS
- All-in-one: no data passing between programs, but the monthly price is above a free POS and the first weeks take some learning
Five questions before you choose
- Is the shop VAT registered, and how often do you issue tax invoices?
- How many branches, and will you open more?
- How many staff, and should payroll be in the same program?
- What does your bookkeeper need from you each month?
- If you stop using it, can you export your data?
How to do it in the app
In GORINY one sale deducts that branch stock and posts revenue and output tax immediately, and the P.P.30 report is built from actual documents. The Business plan adds HR, time attendance and payroll. Pricing is per active branch, the 14-day trial needs no card, and products and customers can be imported from your existing Excel file
Frequently asked questions
- Can a VAT-registered shop use a free POS?
- For selling, yes, but check that it issues the tax invoices you need. You still prepare monthly input and output tax reports, which usually needs accounting software too
- Can these prices change?
- Yes. Providers change prices and promotions at any time, so open each pricing page linked at the end before deciding
- What should a multi-branch shop choose?
- Check that it shows stock per branch and combined, supports transfers between branches, and how much it charges per branch, then total it for your real branch count
