Terms of use

1. The service
GORINY Business Suite (the "Service") is web-based business management software covering point of sale, stock, purchasing, accounting and tax, HR and payroll, and sales channel reports, provided to businesses operating in Thailand.
Accounts can be opened in two ways: by signing up for a trial on the website's sign-up page (one free trial per email address), or by invitation from a business owner or from the service provider. Self sign-ups must confirm ownership of the email address by setting a password through the link sent to that address.
The service provider and contracting party under these terms is Mr. Nattanon Srimongkol, who operates GORINY Business Suite, 187/2 Krungthep Kreetha 7 Road, Hua Mak, Bang Kapi, Bangkok (in these terms, the "service provider", "we" or "us"). The other party is the business that opens an account to use the Service.
2. Accounts and user permissions
The business owner decides which branches and menus each staff member can see, and is responsible for how every user in their business uses the Service.
Users must keep their own passwords safe and tell us immediately if they suspect their account has been used without permission.
3. Fees, payment and cancellation
Fees follow the plan shown on the pricing page on the date you subscribe, paid in advance monthly or yearly. There is no setup fee. Fees are charged according to the number of active branches.
The 14-day trial is free and needs no card. If the trial ends without payment, the account becomes read only. Your data stays and can still be exported.
Fees are charged according to the number of active branches. If you add a branch, or reopen a closed branch, during a billing period, you pay only for the days left in that period, and the system always shows the amount for you to check before you confirm. The branch is active as soon as payment succeeds, and from the next billing period the full fee is charged for the number of active branches.
A branch you give back keeps working normally until the end of the current billing period. You can cancel the give-back before the period ends at no cost, or move the given-back branch's entitlement to a new branch at no extra cost. The data of the given-back branch is kept in full. No refunds are made for billing periods already paid.
An upgrade takes effect immediately, and you pay only the difference for the days left in the billing period. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep the plan you paid for until then. No refunds are made for billing periods already paid.
Monthly plans are charged to your card automatically every period. Yearly plans do not renew or charge automatically. You can choose to pay for the next period from 30 days before the current period ends.
You can cancel at any time from the settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no penalty and no refund for periods already paid, unless the law requires otherwise.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email to your registered address. New prices apply from the next billing period.
4. Your data
The data a business records in the Service (products, customers, bills, accounts, employees and so on) belongs to that business. We do not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service, and we do not show it to any other business.
You can export your data at any time while using the Service and for 30 days after cancelling. We delete the business's data from our systems within 90 days after cancellation, and older backup files that still contain it rotate out within 6 months after that.
For the personal data of customers, employees and contacts that a business records, the business is the data controller and we are the data processor under the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms and applies to every business without a separate signature.
How we collect, use and disclose personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. User responsibilities
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the data they record, including tax filings and payroll that use data from the Service. The Service helps calculate and prepare forms from the data recorded, but does not replace the business's own duties to government agencies.
You must not use the Service for any unlawful activity or try to access another business's data.
6. Intellectual property and prohibited use
The software, screens, design, content, manuals, tutorial videos, illustrations, the GORINY characters including their names, looks and personalities (such as Auntie the shop owner, Alin, Akin, Ann, Lisa, J, Tangkwa and Uncle Chai), the receipt symbol, the GORINY name and related marks are our intellectual property as the service provider. Using the Service does not transfer ownership of, or any right in, that intellectual property to you, other than the right to use the Service under these terms. This does not cover the data a business records, which belongs to that business under section 4.
You must not do any of the following, yourself or through anyone else:
- copy, reproduce, modify or translate the software, screens or content of the Service, in whole or in part;
- decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the software to work out its structure, workflows or methods;
- use an account or the Service to study, build or develop software or a service that competes with this Service;
- use, modify or imitate the GORINY characters, illustrations or receipt symbol in a way that could be mistaken for GORINY, whether commercially or not, without our written permission;
- use automated programs, bots or any other tool to scrape data from the screens or to capture screens in bulk, except exporting your own business's data through the tools the Service provides.
If you breach this section, we may suspend or close the account immediately without prior notice and take legal action. The business's rights in its own data under section 4 still apply.
7. Availability and backups
We back up data automatically every day and rehearse restores from time to time. We aim to keep the Service running continuously, but there may be maintenance periods, which we will announce in advance when we can.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided as is. Our total liability for any damage arising from use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event, unless Thai law provides otherwise.
9. Changes to these terms and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are announced on this page with the new effective date shown at the top. Continuing to use the Service from the effective date means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by Thai law.
For questions about these terms, contact hello@goriny.com, phone 083-927-2676, 187/2 Krungthep Kreetha 7 Road, Hua Mak, Bang Kapi, Bangkok.
