Who it's for

For retail stores and cafes

A store that sells every day needs two things: fast checkout when customers are lining up, and knowing at closing time how much profit you made today and what's running low. GORINY does both on one screen, on the tablet or phone you already have.

Cartoon of a shop owner. Before: adding up bills late at night after closing. After GORINY: bills are posted to the books at the moment of sale, so she closes up and goes home.

Common problems: Retail stores and cafes

  • Sales in the system don't match the cash in the drawer, and you can't find where the money went
  • Corporate customers ask for a full tax invoice, but your register only prints receipts
  • Reordering stock you already have because you don't know what's left in the back
  • At month-end you tally sales by hand to send to your accounting firm

A day with GORINY

Following the store's real schedule, from opening to month end

  1. Opening

Staff open the shift and enter the starting change float. The system starts counting from here.

  2. During the day

Scan barcodes with the camera, take cash, transfer or card, and issue a receipt. Stock goes down instantly with every bill. When a corporate customer asks for a full tax invoice, issue it from the sales screen by selecting the customer's name.

  3. Afternoon

The reorder point page shows products below their threshold. Open a purchase order to the supplier from the purchasing page right away.

  4. Closing

Close the shift and count the cash drawer. The system compares it with sales, shows the difference and posts it to the books right away. The owner sees the day's gross profit from their phone.

  5. Month-end

The P.P.30 page totals the whole month's bills and creates a file to import into RD Prep. Your accounting firm can open the journal themselves.

Frequently asked questions

Our cafe menu uses several ingredients per cup. Can it deduct them all?
Yes, with bills of materials (BOM), which are part of the Business plan. On the Starter plan, stock is deducted per finished product.
Do I need to buy a POS terminal or receipt printer?
It's not required. You can use the tablet or phone you already have. A receipt printer and cash drawer are optional add-ons you can add later.
I also sell through LINE. Can the totals be combined?
Customers who message your LINE OA come into the system as leads, and you can create a quotation or sales bill from that lead. So those sales appear in the same reports as your in-store sales.
